"Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral" is scheduled to be released in Spring 2011.
According to Bloody Disgusting, screenplay writer and director Victor Salva says, Ray Wise will return as the monster-hunting farmer named Taggart and the Creeper will again be played by Jonathan Breck.
The story is about Trisha Jenner (Gina Philips), one of the main characters in the first film, who now has a son named Darry (named after her late brother who was killed by the Creeper) and has nightmares of her son suffering the same fate. So she goes out with Jack Taggart and his son to end the Creeper's reign once and for all.
According to an interview with Moviehole, Salva said the film will be a direct-to-video release but he has hopes the film might get a theatrical release.
